Get wet and have fun!

Whether it’s sponsored lengths of your local pool, swimming the English channel or rowing the Atlantic, getting wet can be a great way to raise funds.

Here are some exciting events for those who like the water…

Great North Swim, 23 June 2012

The British Gas Great North Swim takes place on Lake Windermere, Cumbria, surrounded by some of the nation’s most spectacular natural scenery. Angie Johnson (right) raised £2,000 for us at last year's event. Contact us soon to book your place on the swim (wetsuits are provided).

Canoe Sweden, 2127 July 2012

One of the best ways to explore Sweden is on the water. Imagine canoeing steadily across lakes and rivers, through some of the most tranquil, unspoilt and vast wilderness that Sweden has to offer. Contact us to book your place on the Canoe Sweden challenge.

Whitewater rafting

Whitewater rafting is a truly thrilling adventure sport and we are looking for people like you to take part – no previous experience necessary!

All you need to do is get a team of 6-8 people together and raise the minimum team sponsorship of £1,000 – that's just £125 per person. Click here for more details of whitewater rafting and to register your team.

Atlantic Row Challenge

Could you row the Atlantic – and would you? Matthew and Charlie did just that in 2009 and raised £50,000 for Brain Tumour UK. Read about the boys' adventures and, if their story inspires you to join this life changing race, sign up for the next Atlantic Row Challenge at www.woodvale-challenge.com
