A Tribute Fund is a lasting way to remember someone special who has passed away. It gives friends, relatives and colleagues a focus for making their own individual contribution to the fight against brain tumours and the devastating effect they have.
Every penny contributed to your loved one’s Tribute Fund will be used to help research, raising awareness and supporting other patients, their families and friends.
Most Tribute Funds are accompanied by an online page. We have linked with Much Loved, who offer personalised pages that can be dedicated to a loved one, to which friends and family can add photos, messages, stories and music. Contributions can also be made online which will support our work. Much Loved is a registered UK charity set up to help grieving and healing. It is free to use, simple, but also has comprehensive privacy and access settings. All you need is a valid email address.
Alternatively you can set up a personal memorial page at JustGiving. This will enable people to make donations or sponsor any fundraising you might decide to do.
We can also offer a page on our website, set up with your dedication; however, we are unable to offer frequent page updates or additional features. What we can do is be in touch regularly to let you know how your fund is doing and how we are using the money to make a difference. Call us on 0845 4500 386 or email tributefunds@braintumouruk.org.uk.
Not all Tribute Funds have to be created online. If you would prefer to set one up which is not web-based, please contact us, as above.
