If you want to talk, we're here to listen
We understand that there are times when you just want someone to talk to, who you don't have to explain anything to. Maybe you don't want to bother those you're close to. Maybe you want to hear from someone who's had a similar experience to you.
Our staff and volunteers are ready to listen to you whether you have a brain tumour or are awaiting diagnosis, are caring for someone, or you've been touched in some way by brain tumours. Ring our Helpline on 0845 4500 386 (10am - 1pm, Monday to Friday). We can also put you in touch with our free telephone support service known as Phone Pals and with our network of local Support Groups.
If you've a problem, we've probably already been there.
You'll be given a lot of advice but sometimes it helps to talk it through with someone who's gone through the process before.
People ring our helpline with questions about living with a brain tumour, the treatments being offered, where to go for support and resources, or just to talk through their diagnosis or the options they've been offered. Our staff and volunteers can direct you to the right places and the best people to talk to, or they can act as a sounding board for you.
Access our Helpline by ringing 0845 4500 386. Special support is provided from 10am - 1pm, Monday to Friday. (The Brain Tumour UK office can also be contacted through this number during normal office hours with general and fundraising enquiries.)
