Support Groups
There are two support groups for patients and carers run by Ella Pybus, a trustee of Brain Tumour UK , in Cambridge and Norwich:

• Cambridge: The Mary Wallace Centre, 7 Red Cross Lane, Cambridge (close to Addenbrooke's Hospital) which will meet on a Tuesday for the last time on 24 March 2009 and thereafter on the fourth Friday of the month - 24 April, 22 May, 26 June.
  
  
• Norwich: The Big C Cancer Centre (entrance of Norfolk & Norwich Uni Hosp) which meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 1.30 to 3.30pm

The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 5.30pm — 7.30pm. Meet in Reception.

 

There are also quarterly meetings in Cambridge of the Acoustic Neuroma and Meningioma Network (AMNET). These are for patients diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma or vestibular schwannoma brain tumour; see www.amnet-charity.org.uk or call Alison Frank on 01953 860692
