Professor Colin Blakemore, FRS, FMedSci, FRCP (Hon), FSB (Hon), has been appointed President of Brain Tumour UK.
Professor Blakemore is a leading neuroscientist at the University of Oxford, with hundreds of scientific papers and many books to his name. He is also a leading communicator on science and a former chief executive of the Medical Research Council.
“I welcome this opportunity to help Brain Tumour UK make a real difference for everyone affected by a brain tumour,” said Professor Blakemore.
