We have several support groups already up and running in Scotland for patients and family members to attend, they are listed below by area.
We are introducing a new Telephone Support Group providing support, information and a chance to speak to others in a similar situation in Scotland. Brain Tumour UK fund the calls and an experienced facilitator will take part to ensure that you get the most from your call.

Everyone is welcome to join Brain Tumour UK's monthly support group in Dundee held at Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre in Ninewells Hospital and meets on the second Wednesday of every month (please see below for dates).
The meeting starts at 3.30pm until approximately 5.00. Refreshments will be provided and reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed. This group is aimed at patients, families and friends of those diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Maggie's Cancer Caring CentreEveryone is welcome to join Brain Tumour UK's monthly support group in Glasgow held at Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre at the Glasgow Western Infirmary and meets on the first Tuesday of every month (please see below for dates). The meeting starts at 1.30pm until approximately 3.00pm and is aimed at patients, families and friends of anyone diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Ayrshire Cancer SupportBrain Tumour Action runs a friendly monthly support group in Edinburgh, held at the Maggie's Centre in the Western General Hospital and takes place on the first Tuesday of every month (see below for dates). It is unaffiliated with Brain Tumour UK.
The meeting runs between 7:00pm and 9:00pm and is aimed at patients, families and friends of those diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Maggie's Cancer Caring CentreEveryone is welcome to join Brain Tumour UK's support group in Grampian run in partnership with CLAN Cancer Support in Aberdeen. The meeting will be monthly and is aimed at patients, families and friends of those diagnosed with a brain tumour.

A new national study is collecting blood samples from people diagnosed with glioma in the last three years. The Beatson Oncology Centre, Glasgow, is participating in the study. Find out more
