This is Jenny's story:
Jenny says: "The London 10k is a fantastic experience. I was running in memory of my Dad, and all my family and friends sponsored me. They were happy to do so because my Dad lived in Australia, and we in the UK hadn't been able to say goodbye to him.
"The best thing was to see all those people, young and old, running for different causes, many in memory of loved ones lost, and the friendliness all around you. The stories I heard, not that people had died or recovered from a brain tumour, but the things you don't know about unless you are intimately involved - the difficulties of coming to terms with it, and the struggle to uphold the dignity and quality of life of the person suffering, and their families. For me it was a very humbling experience.”
Jenny is now training for a half marathon and considering a cross channel swim for Brain Tumour UK.
