Every day, around 50 lives are shattered by the diagnosis of a brain tumour. The tumour can affect co-ordination, movement, speech, behaviour and any other activity controlled by the brain. And brain cancer can kill with unforgiving speed. This disease can strike anyone at any age but often it attacks young people in the prime of their lives.

Since 1997, Brain Tumour UK has been helping thousands of people cope with the diagnosis of a brain tumour. We want to do all we can to help anyone affected. For ten years, we've provided a Helpline, support groups, regular newsletters and, of course, funding for vital research into the causes and effects of brain tumours, and their treatment.

We also run a major annual conference giving patients and their families a chance to talk about their experiences and to get the latest updates direct from medical professionals. To continue to do all this - and more - we need to raise much-needed funds. With your help, we plan to make this our most successful year to date.

Please take a few minutes to read about some of the people we help. Every day, around 50 more people will be so grateful that you did.
