Graham Lindsay, who manages customer experience for the Lloyds Banking Group, joined Brain Tumour UK's Board of Trustees on 19 August 2010.
Graham’s motivation for becoming involved with Brain Tumour UK follows his wife’s struggle with the illness. Judy, his wife of 25 years, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in late 2006.
“She has been through a very difficult 3.5 year period of surgery and treatment, culminating in radiotherapy earlier this year. This provides a real motivation for me wanting to get involved and support this worthwhile charity.”
Mr Lindsay’s vast experience includes his involvement as a board member of another charity, The Institute of Financial Services, which came to an end in June after six years. He lives in Buckinghamshire and works as managing director, customer experience for the Lloyds Banking Group.
Brain Tumour UK's Chairman, Jeremy Payne, said: “We are delighted to welcome the new trustees on board. Each of them brings a unique set of valuable skills and experience to the table which we know will be of great benefit to the charity.”
